My 8 week horsemanship fundamentals program is designed for beginners that want to learn the fundamentals of horse care and riding. During the program we will cover all aspects of the Ride-Care-Play philosophy so you become confident around horses and have the necessary skills to continue your horsemanship journey.
During the program you will learn:
- How to safely groom a horse
- How to saddle a horse and prepare it for riding
- How to safely sit in the saddle and control the horse
- How to wash a horse after riding
- How to work a horse at liberty and onto a mark
- The different types of food horses are fed
